These terms are an agreement between you and Tigran Matikozyan ("we", "us"), an individual developer based in Nevada, USA, regarding your use of Lock In ("the app"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

The app

Lock In is a personal habit tracker for iOS. We provide it on an as-is basis for your personal, non-commercial use.

Accounts

You need an account to use the app. You can sign up with email/password, Google, or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Purchases and payments

The app is paid. Purchases (and any future in-app purchases or subscriptions) are processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms. We don't see or store your payment information.

Your content

The habits you create and content you enter belong to you. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content solely so we can provide the service to you (e.g., syncing across your devices). We don't use your content for any other purpose.

If we add social features in the future, sharing will be opt-in and we'll update these terms before that ships.

Acceptable use

Don't:

Service changes

We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to give notice for material changes that affect you.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that data will never be lost. Back up anything you can't afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or missed habits, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — in that case, the above applies to the maximum extent permitted.

Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting your account from in-app settings or by deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use the app ends; the sections that should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Nevada, and you consent to that jurisdiction. If you live in a place where local consumer law gives you stronger rights, those rights still apply.

Apple terms (iOS)

The app is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or any claims relating to it, but Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you in-app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
